Hello, I’m Hunter!

I have been making art for as long as I can remember; some of my earliest memories are of drawing with my dad at the kitchen counter. After spending a few years in the tech and design industries, I rediscovered my passion for traditional art and began tattooing at Ink Expression in the spring of 2023.

I love to work in the American traditional and engraving styles, with a particular penchant for medieval fantasy, folk horror and creepy crawlies. I take a lot of inspiration from the works of artists like Richard Wells, Marcel Ustowski and Martina Oven. That said, I am more than comfortable working with just about any style - as we like to say, we give the people what they want!

Outside of tattooing I work with graphite drawing and have even dabbled in bookbinding and blacksmithing. I also love to work out, write, play guitar, and garden. If you ever need to know how to better target your triceps or what to grow with your peppers, I’m your guy!
